God has a plan! Is it the same as yours?

1 Cor 1:25-26

“Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called.”

We all have our plans and no matter how good those plans are sometimes God has different ones in store for us. God is so much better at making the decisions that it really helps when we hear from Him and take the time to allow Him to guide our choices. God wants to work mightily in each of our lives and in each and every church, so if it is not God’s desire to meet with us powerfully that is the problem, then it must be us getting in the way.

God doesn’t need the best the world has to offer to change our world. He just needs us to have His plan in mind not our own. You do not have to be anything special by worldly or church standards. You just have to be called and then follow.

Time to think

I have often wondered about the saying take the time to stop and smell the roses. WHo had the time to even think that up? who had the time to plant those roses and who could wait long enough to wait for them to grow?

What century is that? I have three Jobs, I am a father of 3.5 and I still have no idea how that is all supposed to work. I do know that every time I blink the world gets a little farther away. How do we stop this train that is out of control? I don’t even have time to wait in the drive thru for a Starbucks Latte.

any ideas how we can help each other again find life in living?

Nike, MTV, STARBUCKS, & GOD?

Faith not farce:

I must say that it is amazing that we can get so lost in our own minds. We can Look to Nike so we can just do it, we look to MTV to tell us what it is that we want to do, we look to Starbucks to satisfy us after we have done it, but if we think of looking to God for this stuff we are out cast by those who would rather not have faith but farce.

It seems that it is ok to have a form of religion, but not godliness. it is okay and even political correct to attend some type of church. However if we look at what church was founded on, The Bible, and we start doing what it says we are fanatics. Bible thumpers, forcing religion on people when in fact that is the complete opposite, because doing what the bible says it the opposite of religion. Why?? because religion is the creation of man, but the bible, the inspired word of God is from God.

Wanna see the bible, come to Restoration, or visit the Lakeland revival with Todd Bently and see for your self. God and his power will not be mocked. Sick, confused need so see if God exists? Come find out for your self. IN person.

The real truth is it is not the onlookers, those who are outside the “religious” box that have issues with God moving, it is those who are in the church. It is the people, in the organizations who look at a move of God and destroy it with slander. There are those who instead in faith look to prove it right, they with out fail look to destroy the works because they can’t or don’t understand what is happening

Why? Why do we do this?
